The
International Airline Ticketing Academy was established in 1991 and is registered with the
TVEC (Government, Ministry of Vocational & Technical Training). It runs three courses for
the year, beginning in January, May and September respectively. Open book exam and
Diploma awarded at the end of the course. Most of the students (Sri Lankan and foreign) who have had successfully followed these courses over the last 18 years are now employed by Airlines, Travel Agents and other organizations related to the Tourism Industry In Sri Lanka and abroad. The Course Director Mr. Deepal Perera has 22 years experience working for 15 Airlines and 2 Travel Agents in Sri Lanka and abroad. In 1987 he passed as an International Travel Consultant. He passed the OAG World Airways Guides Course (UK), UNCTAD Instructors course, Diploma 1983 - 1985 (Geneva), Professional Skills for Instructors (Montreal), GDS-Amadeus, Airline Marketing and Foundation Instructor 2006 (Montreal). Airport Operations with a Distinction ( Montreal ) 2007 - 2008 Mr. Perera is a visiting lecturer at Government of
Maldives Tourism Faculty.

Only a limited number of students will be enrolled for these courses and lectures will be conducted at Our Academy (Air Conditioned), on the following days:- :: Saturday - from 1500 to 1800 :: Sunday - from 0930 to 1230 :: Tuesday - from 0930 to 1230 :: Thursday - from 0930 to 1230 The course will be completed within a period
of three (03) calendar months (11 Sessions and open book exam).
Qatar Airways, Air Arabia, All Nippon Airways, Air Mauritius, Indian Airlines, Olympic Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Air New Zealand, South African Airlines, Jet Airways, American Airlines, Asiana, United Airlines and Air Canada will offer on-the-job training for students of the Academy. Sineth Lowe (11 years) from Second Chance Travel youngest student to have passed Airline Diploma from our Academy. If you like to follow the computer course, you could do so, after the completion of the Diploma. Only 10 students per class. Airline Cabin Crew Training - LKR 20000 Many of our students who had followed this course are now working for Srilankan, Qatar Airways, Emirates, Kuwait Airways, Saudia, Gulf Air, Cathay Pacific, Oman Air, Royal Jordanian, Mihin Lanka, Maldivian, Maldivian Air Taxi & Trans Maldivian Airways. Individual classes could be arranged for all the courses.
